Assets of grain trader Louis Dreyfus in Russia may go to top management
The heads of Russian enterprises of the international grain trader Louis Dreyfus are trying to collect wage arrears from its liquidated structures. Subsequently, they may gain control over the company’s remaining assets in Russia worth 2 billion rubles. Finding third-party interested parties for this business is currently difficult in the context of declining grain exports.
German Azarov, Associate in corporate practice at Nordic Star Law Offices commented on the nuances of payments:
“When selling real estate, a special permit is indeed not required. But payments in favor of owners from “unfriendly” countries may not exceed 10 million rubles per month and be made to special accounts”.
