Our team represented BASF Stroitelnye Sistemy LLC (a Russian subsidiary of a global manufacturer providing advanced chemical solutions for construction) in the courts of all three instances as a third party in a dispute between a developer and the client’s distributor over the quality of goods supplied. As a result, the court judgment remained in force, while the expert opinion which confirmed the quality of our client’s goods and which laid the foundation for the judgments of the courts of the first two instances was proven to be lawful and well-grounded. The dispute was complicated by a parallel lawsuit brought against the same developer in St. Petersburg and two contradictory reports prepared by different experts.
