Transport logistics in the time of sanctions / Journal “Metal Supply and Sales”

The ICC Russia conference “Incoterms, International Contract, Supply Logistics” took place in Moscow in mid-February. At the event, participants shared their experience of working in the new conditions and their vision of prospects. According to the experts, Russian business has, despite certain difficulties in general, adapted to the existing realities.

Artem Zhavoronkov, a Partner at Nordic Star Law Offices, took part in the conference and in his opinion the new sanctions will focus on stopping any sanctioned imports. “Now it’s impossible to come up with any new sanctions,” he said. “This year, control will most likely focus on options for avoiding sanctions, which is already partially seen in the examples of Turkey and Kazakhstan, where EU emissaries come.”
