In May, the High Court of England and Wales overturned an injunction that restricted the ability of the Russian company Ruskhimalliance to file lawsuits against German banks.
The situation is developing in the context of a project to build a gas processing plant with Linde, which has refused to cooperate due to sanctions. “Ruskhimalliance” terminated the contract and filed lawsuits for more than €1.1 billion. UniCredit was the first to achieve a partial lifting of the ban, which allowed the company to continue proceedings in Russia.
