On January 31, St. Petersburg hosted the annual Legal Forum organized by the publishing house “Kommersant” on the topic “Results of 2022: Laws and Business”, dedicated to summing up the results of legislative activity and assessing their impact on business. The event was attended by heads and top managers of leading international and Russian legal and consulting companies, heads of legal departments from the largest companies in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, and representatives of government authorities and associations.
Artem Zhavoronkov, a Partner, and Anton Borisyuk, a Senior Associate in the Transactions & Corporate Law Practice at Nordic Star Law Offices, spoke during the second session of the forum. Artem Zhavoronkov told the audience about the situation in the field of sanctions regulation at the end of 2022. Anton Borisyuk continued with a speech outlining the key changes in the field of corporate and commercial legal relations caused by sanctions pressure and changes in the economic and political situation both domestically and globally.
