The suspension of the “membership” of more than 60 foreign brands in the Customs Register of Intellectual Property (CRIP) should not lead to an increase in counterfeiting.

Vera Zotova, a Senior Associate in the Intellectual Property and Information Technology Practice at Nordic Star Law Offices, shared her views with Delovoy Peterburg newspaper on what the legal grounds might be for suspending/excluding trademarks from the CRIP.
