Yuri has more than 20 years of successful professional experience in corporate, tax, labour and migration law. He specialises in providing comprehensive legal support to businesses, including strategic planning, organisational development and management of companies, interaction with government authorities and optimisation of financial and economic activities. Yuri pays particular attention to working with companies doing business in Southeast Asia, helping them to adapt to local legal requirements and develop effective business strategies in the region.
Throughout his career, Yuri Li has held senior positions in large organisations, including the position of Deputy General Director for Legal and Property Issues at the Federal State Unitary Enterprise «Directorate for Investment Activities» (FSUE), where he was responsible for managing federal property and protecting the economic interests of the state. As part of this role, he also participated in international projects, including cooperation with partners from South East Asian countries, which allowed him to gain an in-depth understanding of the specifics of doing business in this region.
Yuri has successful experience of representing clients in arbitration and general jurisdiction courts in a wide range of cases, from debt recovery and unjust enrichment disputes to complex land relations and bankruptcy proceedings. He deals effectively with government agencies, law enforcement authorities and bailiffs, including in international disputes involving the jurisdictions of South East Asian countries.
As a managing partner of a consulting company, Yuri demonstrated high competence in managing financial and economic activities of a company, building business processes and creating a system of staff motivation. Under his leadership, the company successfully completed a number of projects for clients from South East Asia, including corporate law, tax planning and migration law consulting.
Yuri Li is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the St. Petersburg Civil Aviation Academy and has additional professional training in arbitration management, tax consulting and accounting.
Currently, Yuri continues to actively develop his consulting business, providing high quality legal services to corporate clients, including companies operating in Southeast Asia.
