Digital technology has been actively used in court proceedings during pandemic times. Not only Russian courts, but courts all over the world are using it. Some legal professionals have gone further: in England, for example, witnesses are examined on WhatsApp. However, judges in Russia are more conservative, and lawyers think this is justified.
