Immigrants in Europe often learn new tax nuances quite late: when they receive a fine. According to the experience of Nordic Star’s experts, most immigrants come to the EU country of their residence without doing any “tax preparation”. Meanwhile, a lack of knowledge about the tax laws of the country of destination entails the risk of fines, and in some cases, of criminal prosecution.
