Anna Zabrotskaya is a Managing Partner at Nordic Star Law Firm in Russia, Head of the Dispute Resolution Practice and Head of the Fashion & Lux Practice.

Anna represents clients in disputes before Russian arbitral and general courts at all levels, as well as in international commercial arbitrations under the rules of LCIA, SCC, ICC, VIAC, SIAC, FAI, ICAC at the RF CCI, MAC at the RF CCI, and in ad hoc arbitrations.

Anna has extensive experience in coordinating parallel proceedings and interacting with lawyers in foreign jurisdictions on issues related to arbitration or litigation in Russia and abroad, including execution of court orders, preparation or obtaining legal opinions, imposition of interim measures, recognition and enforcement of arbitral and court decisions.

Anna is also one of the first lawyers in Russia to seriously address the legal regulation of the fashion industry (fashion law) as a separate branch of legal practice. For many international companies in the fashion and luxury goods industry, including French, English, American and Italian brands, Anna is the main contact person for legal issues related to doing business in Russia and the CIS.

Since 2012, Anna has been a member of the St. Petersburg Bar Association and is also admitted to practice in England and Wales (as a foreign lawyer). Anna is a member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution and a member of the ICC Russia Arbitration Commission, and since 2015 has been a member of the Users' Council of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC).

Anna is also a lecturer of legal courses taught in English "International Commercial Arbitration" and "International Dispute Resolution" at the Law Faculty of St. Petersburg State University and teaches law at the French fashion institute Mod'Art.
